phone call
for my boss
scratchy male voice says:
'hi is dan there'
'no he's out of the office at the moment but he should be back in about 30 minutes'
'ok, thanks beautiful'
'nervous laughter..no problem'
and i hang up. no fucking clue who called, no message for my boss, nothing.
i get distracted by flattery, and i simultaneously get uncomfortable, and i hang up.
excellent qualities to have in a receptionist.
