i just realized i remember river phoenix dying but i have zero recollection of kurt cobain dying a couple months later...hm. not sure why i remember one and not the other. i was 9 at the time and river was 23...i remember thinking that was so old...i mean too young to die, but old and adult. now im a week away from being 23 and im realizing what a kid he was...walking on that sidewalk outside the viper room is still creepy, by the way.
